Fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTA) is a wireless site design that utilizes optical fiber running up the tower, replacing the heavier coaxial cables typically used. Key components like remote radio units (RRUs) are now located at the top of the tower rather than at the base. FiberMania offers FTTA solutions that provide cable connectivity and electrical protection for remote radio head (RRH) equipment installed on cellular towers, rooftops, and other structures. Our cable connectivity primarily focuses on FTTA patch cords, which consist of two single-mode fibers. One end of the fibers is fitted with IP series waterproof connectors, while the other end features standard connectors compatible with RRU interfaces, such as LC duplex. We can supply factory-assembled patch cables or provide connectors for quick installation at your site. Our inventory includes various connector types such as IP series, ODVA, OptiTap, H connector, ODC, RDC, AARC, FullAXS, RFE, IP-FX, Mini-SC, PDLC, NSN, and other tactical field connectors.
